Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). As a young girl of just five when she left for Oxfordshire and enrolled at her first Dragon School. Emma decided to be an actor when she was six. Over the course of several years she was enrolled in the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. She learned to sing as well as dancing, and also acting.
