Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish meaning "Rosalia") Rosalia Vila (Spanish for "Rosalia") is an Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. When she was a teenager she sang with traditional as well as popular music. Her singing interests have broadened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Pepe Habichuela has said that her vocals as being sweet, sharp but also possessing a bit of bite. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually winning an Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami is her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to have performed alone on the popular program.
