Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actor. In 2000, he started his acting career as a character on TV shows such as Opposite sexual sex. Evans gained fame because of his performance as his character, the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in film adaptations of comic books as well as graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). In a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe film, such as Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2017) and Captain America: Civil War (2017) and in ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2017) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in addition to Endgame (2009), his performance as Steve Rogers/Captain American gained him wider recognition. The Marvel universe, the character as Captain Steve Rogers and Captain America helped him become the most highly paid actor in the world.
